Sermon Title: In Deep Water. Preacher: Pastor Jason Bryan-Wegner. Preaching Text: Luke 5:1-11. We begin a new worship series today called Expanding Our Horizons. Because of God’s love, we recognize God finds us where we are and calls us to venture beyond what is known and familiar. Faith calls us to ask, “Where are we going?” or even, “Who are we becoming?” Living in the light of the incarnated Christ, we are called to become more—more as individuals, and also more as a community. In these weeks of worship, we will look at aspects of Christ’s community and ways the Gospel is calling us to expand our horizons and stretch ourselves to become more of who God is calling us to be.
