The scoreboard at any sporting event, seems to possess power. When athletes, coaches, and fans look at the numbers on a scoreboard, they tend to believe those numbers cause a variety of emotions. However, the scoreboard is not capable of causing any emotions. What do you think when you imagine different numbers on the scoreboard?
