Gorgui Dieng is more than just a talented NBA player for the Memphis Grizzlies. He’s a beacon of hope. As a high school student, Gorgui uprooted his life in Senegal and moved to the United States to play basketball at Huntington Prep before playing college basketball for the Louisville Cardinals. Today, Gorgui shares with us not only his journey to the NBA, but why is he committed to giving back and helping others. He believes you don’t have to be a rich man to have a big heart, and that you are never too busy to help others. His passion to leave a legacy as a humanitarian makes him another athlete doing good.
