One thing I have learned in my 20 years of experience, is Athletes and Parents need each other. This isn't just about parents paying for sports, fees, training, etc. It's about the relationship between the two. That can be mom and dad, mom, or just dad, that is irrelevant. This is about parents providing their children with all of the resources they need to be successful. Then on the other hand it's about athletes appreciating what their parents have sacrificed to make sure they have everything they need.
