Super excited to announce that I have a book coming out later this year. Yes, I will be able to officially call myself an author!!! With a working title 'Getting Home From Breast Cancerville (is the hardest bit)' my book is about the complexity and uncertainty of recovering from treatment and accepting that life will never be as it was before Breast Cancer. In writing my own story I have tried to convey the way everyone thinks that when your treatment ends, the worst is behind you. The truth is, the hardest bit is yet to come. My manuscript is now finished and with an editor to whip it into shape. I know there will be more work but it's on it's way to publication.
