In this episode, we explore the dramatic transformation of Alma the Younger and the sons of Mosiah after their rebellion against the Church. A powerful visit from an angel, accompanied by the shaking earth and a thunderous voice, turns Alma's life upside down, rendering him unable to speak or move. This chapter marks a pivotal moment in Alma's repentance and highlights his newfound mission to spread the gospel. After the chapter, I'll be interviewing my husband, Aaron Campbell, and talking about a very personal and sacred experience for us. Aaron's battle with Guillain-Barré Syndrome—a condition that, much like Alma's experience, left him temporarily paralyzed and unable to move. His story offers some pretty profound parallels. Through this lens, we'll examine both Alma's miraculous recovery and the spiritual insights we gained during our own extremely difficult trial.
