On January 26th, 2021, the nominations for the 2021 Film Independent Spirit Awards were announced. As far as I am concerned, these are the first semi-major nominations to be released in the 2021 awards season so it is vital that we debrief and rationalize the nominees to get a clearer idea of the awards-show-landscape.
