This podcast was an absolute joy for me to do! It has been a long time coming, and in my mind I have been planning it for nearly a decade.It is an ode my dearest Nan, Muriel and also to my Father -  my Nan used to walk around the house singing Peggy Lee and such and my Dad was a huge fan of Big Band. The podcast will take you through my favourite singers, bands and songs from the 1930s through to the 1950s.It took quite a great deal of digging, but was well worth it!I hope you enjoy this in the FIRST series of NOSTAGIA PODCASTS.I had to include this lovely message I got from Michael Masterton:"Monica and I listened to your podcast and thoroughly enjoyed it. When I was in my early to mid teens (1954/1958) I found a great love for big band music and then modern jazz.I recognised many of the artists you featured and it bought back lots of memories.
