Our guest today is Amber Akhtar, a 22-year-old filmmaker who grew up in Michigan. She just finished her BFA in Dramatic Writing with a minor in Producing at NYU Tisch. Cycle is about a young woman who spends the night at a laundromat struggling to wash the underwear she wore after having an abortion.
