Imogen was the winner of the Interview category when she was a Young Reporter in 2015, writing about the process of roof thatching after interviewing a local resident. She found the scheme exciting and said she enjoyed the challenge.

Nowadays, Imogen is a Sports Masseuse after studying Sports and Exercise at the University of Northumbria and runs her own business alongside studying for her Masters in Physiotherapy. She hopes to expand her business once she has finished her Postgraduate.

She said that the Young Reporter scheme helped her develop a structure with her writing, due to how varied the topics are in the scheme, which she then took forward to use in her degree.
