In this episode, we welcome Mr. Martin Hansson.





Although Magic is our common interest and initial spark to our friendship, we talk about his unique experience in performing magic for people suffering from dementia, his thoughts on martial arts and his aikido practice as well as the project to bring a magic course into the university program in Stockholm with Tom Stone, with whom he started a magic theatre project called Mystique in Stockholm, alongside John Henry and Leif Olberius. In the end of the conversation, we discuss and watch two acts developed with the Mystique group.





Martin Hansson’s career started in loud and chaotic venues, which gave him a knack for fast repartee and a crude humor. But the more he has ventured into theatrical environments, the more he have developed subtle work, and he is now able to make performances filled with contrasts – which have even given him prizes in international magic competitions.
