Listen "All Things Digital Policy"
Episode Synopsis
Why do governments, including India’s, struggle in the cybersecurity domain? In the context of global AI governance wherein the US and EU are pushing for soft touch and hard touch regulation, respectively, what is the Indian approach to AI governance? How can we secure supply chains? To find answers, Lokendra, Rijesh and Bharath sit down with Michael (Mike) R. Nelon (Senior fellow in the Carnegie Asia Program) in this episode of All Things Policy. Mike leverages his nearly four decades of experience of working in internet and digital policy to illuminate the discussion on above questions. They also discuss key insights from Carnegie's 2024 report "Korea's Path to Digital Leadership," lessons India can learn from the Korean experience, and how India fares on the parameters employed in the report.
