Turning the focus to the main subject of the episode, Avery and Freddy explore Advocacy and Activism. Together, they discuss the challenges experienced by those supporting the trans+ community, reflecting on their own experiences as advocates and activists themselves. They both explore their roles in academic institutions and reflect on opportunities for building community, finding friendships, and more. The co-hosts draw on their own experiences and if yours are different, that doesn't mean you can't find belonging or acceptance within your own individual journey.Access the Student Space support resources here: https://studentspace.org.uk/wellbeing/life-as-a-trans-studentThanks for listening!
