This month, Aldine ISD is celebrating Black History Month by sharing the stories of History Makers and Legacy Builders in the Aldine community. In this special episode, we talk to Ms. Cathy Griggs, wife of the late Merlin D. Griggs, Sr., former Aldine ISD Trustee and Griggs EC/PK/K School; Namesake Ms. Marine Jones, former Aldine ISD Trustee, employee, and Jones Middle School Namesake During this episode; we also honor the legacy of Mr. A.W. Jones, Aldine ISD Trustee and Jones EC/PK/K and Jones Elementary School Namesake. It is our hope that during our episode that you take time to pause and celebrate the legacy builders and history makers here in Aldine ISD. Use their stories for inspiration, and look for ways to build your own legacy and make real change.
