Listen "Ramadan"
Episode Synopsis
The month of Ramadan is a time when Muslims around the world fast, perform extra prayers and spend time with others. But the COVID-19 pandemic has changed things for Muslims, and in 2020 dinners and prayers took people to their screens rather than the mosque.
Today we talk about what Ramadan is, how it’s typically observed, and find out how several Muslim communities in Indiana had to adapt to closures and lockdowns.
