Listen "Precarious Employment and Worker Health"
Episode Synopsis
The pandemic exacerbated many issues in the US, but it also brought attention to things we might not have noticed. One of those being the health of essential workers.
We hear from a researcher on the topic of precarious employment, and the health of workers in low quality jobs. We talk about what's going on in Indiana and the legislation out there that could protect and hurt workers of precarious employment.
We also learn about the Bag Ladies and their involvement in the local LGBTQ community here in Indiana.
Produced by Micah Yason.
