Listen "Marijuana Prosecution"
Episode Synopsis
While acting as interim Marion County Prosecutor, Ryan Mears announced that small marijuana possession cases would no longer be prosecuted. Mears was officially elected to the post soon after the decision. He joins us today to discuss why the change was implemented and the impact it might have.
We're also joined by attorneys and advocates to weigh in on the nationwide trend to relax marijuana laws. How does Indiana compare to surrounding states? Is this a stand alone decision, or a marker of changes to come?
We also speak with the director of "Hesburgh," a documentary about former Notre Dame president and civil rights icon Father Theodore Hesburgh.
Produced by Drew Daudelin.
