Listen "Enchanted Life"
Episode Synopsis
Episode starts with a Greenlandic Inuit woman singing about Yule to her father. Yule traditionally starts the night of winter solstice and lasts until January 1. Yule can be traced back to the Norse people who celebrated Yule as a way of connecting with the natural world. Yule is a celebration of the sun, of rebirth and renewal, and the continuation of life. Episode ends with reading of the “Manifesto for an enchanted life” written by Dr. Sharon Blackie. Sharon works in the interface of psychology, mythology, and ecology. The Enchanted Life is just one of her many books. Enjoy current episodes while we prepare Season 2 with lots of storytelling! Find @credko on Twitter.
