In this episode I’ll be discussing how we can create a happier life and promote overall wellness by cultivating a life centered on being thankful. Merriam-Webster defines gratitude as “The state or quality of being grateful or thankful; a warm and friendly feeling in response to a favor or favors received; thankfulness.” We can experience these feelings in response to an act of kindness, assistance we may receive. Sometimes we feel grateful for gift we may receive, or we feel thankful for our family and loved ones. Gratitude is the positive response that we feel to all these things, and now there is proof via studies and emerging research that practicing gratitude provides us with tangible psychological and physical benefits that have a positive impact on our quality of life and well-being in general.
