Episode Synopsis
In the second segment of our converstion with Dr. Melton, paints another scene as to why she has left. These stories about former members leaving are more complicated than current church members realize. These stories are multi-faceted, complicated and simply human at their core. As Dr. Melton processes all of these things, she begins to leave the church. After leaving, she discusses the process of supression and repression up on her leaving the church. Dr. Melton had a vision for her life, that the church no longer fit. Dr. Melton also speaks about the effect that her affilication with this organization had on the relationship with her family and friends. Dr. Melton is a practicing clinical psychologist.
