Listen "2020 Airdrie Made Award winners"

Episode Synopsis

The first Airdrie Made Awards, celebrating the ingenuity, creativity, craftsmanship and hard work of Airdrie makers, creators, craftspeople and businesses was held in February at the McKee and NuVista showhomes in Cooper’s Crossing.
The showhomes were crowded as guests sampled the tastes and checked out all 26 entries that were “made in Airdrie and curated in Cooper’s.”
Today on the podcast we get to share interviews with three winners. For Taste, we have Vladimir Gonzalez of Maxi Foods. For Home, we have Jessie Heron of Airdrie Furniture Revival. For Beauty and Wellness, as well as the overall award for product of the year, we have Lara Lamb from Lamb’s Soapworks.
This is the airdrielife podcast where we take you beyond the pages of airdrielife magazine.
Our goal is to share stories with locals in and around Airdrie about extraordinary people who call this city home. Myself and my journalist colleagues meet all kinds of fun, interesting people we get to write about. This podcast is an exclusive opportunity where you can learn more about your fantastic neighbours.
