Alvin and German conduct a great conversation with the Major League Baseball Players Association’s Associate Director of International and Domestic Communications, Silvia Alvarez.’96. Born in Honduras. she has over a decade of experience designing and executing successful communications strategies for great institutions and individuals in the fields of sports and entertainment and high-level politics and public policy. She is a veteran of New York City politics, media and government and an expert in multicultural engagement with an intimate understanding of New York City’s diverse communities. After graduating from Colgate University, she graduated from Middlebury College with an MA in Literature. While at Colgate, she played Lacrosse and received her BA double majoring in Politics and Literature.
