Listen "Ep. 8 Stimming!"
Episode Synopsis
Hello, folks! My name is Dustin Horvath, this is ADHD in a HURRY!
Today's episode focuses on "stimming" or self-stimulating behaviors. For a while, these behavior traits were looked at as more of something for people on the autism spectrum; however, there has been more research and personal anecdotes that show that people with ADHD engage in this, too.
I go over some common forms of stimming for ADHDers, my experiences, and what I've learned about my tendencies to stim. Also, I talk about being proactive in places that might not be conducive to stimming behaviors.
