Listen "NEW! This is a Challenge episode and a call to action to see what you can come up with."
Episode Synopsis
This is a Challenge episode! What does that mean?
It is a call to action to see what you can come up with within your challenges.
This challenge is meant to be fun and that's why I want each of you to set goals and lists that are personal and unique to you. We will all have different goals and lists. If you're just starting out making lists, schedules or routines then start off slow and try this habit or routine for 1 - 3 days. If you are a veteran at this, then choose something that will challenge you more.
This not only holds us accountable for what we say we are going to do, but it challenges us and gently pushes us towards our goals through commitment.
***If you do not succeed the first time, you can always re-adjust your goals. DO NOT feel discouraged as it takes 3 weeks to 3 months to establish a routine and then there will be days that we have trouble maintaining. Even those without ADHD have issues with routines and schedules.
REMEMBER that this is not to compare your progress with anyone else but YOU. This is your journey and yours alone. Those around us just have the pleasure of witnessing our awesomeness.
FOR PARENTS OR GUARDIANS! Ask your children if they are overwhelmed with schedules and routines because as I have experienced parents can and tend to overcompensate with routines and schedules so keep this in mind because too much structure can be daunting and even counterproductive. There is always a need for the balance!
REMEMBER that goals without lists and actions are just DREAMS!
BELIEVE IN YOURSELF AND WHAT YOU ARE CAPABLE OF. I DO!
