Episode Synopsis

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=adaezeinchrist/ynogdyur Welcome to my blog for Afritunes week 192. Is been a while since I saw my friends here last and I hope we will have a great time with ourselves this week.
For the week I will love to do a cover of an Igbo song by Gabriel Eziashi. This is a very old Igbo song and I really love to sing it alot especially in church when given testimony. There are some of us that we can't give testimonies without singing any song.
The first time I heard this song was when I was a little girl and then I don't even know the original owner of the song. All I know is that when ever someone raised the song in the church I will respond with all my heart without completely knowing what it means. But today I sing the same song with lots of meaning in my heart and it is a song that helps me to remember all that God have done and what God is presently doing in my life and family.
Let me explain what the song means in English language.
Chukwu Idimma means: God is good.
Chi mara obim oo means: the God that knows my heart.
Nare ekele mgbe niile means: receive all praise all the time.
This is just a brief summary of the song so that I will carry everyone along.
This is the lyrics. I tried to write it by myself. Though not complete, but I just put down what I can remember in the song. Enjoy
Chukwu Idimma, Idimma, Idimma
Chi mara obi moo
Nara ekele
Maybe niile
Chukwu Idimma, Idimma, Idimma
Chi mara obi moo
Nara ekele
Maybe niile
Chukwu Idimma, Idimma, Idimma
Chi mara obi moo
Nara ekele
Maybe niile
Chukwu ni Idimma
Oh I Idimma
Chukwu ni Idimma
Oh I Idimma
Chi mara obi moo
Nara ekele
Mgbe Nile
Chi mara obi moo
Nara ekele
Mgbe Nile.
I love you all and happy midweek to us all
