Moment of honesty. Neither of us knows what dating in today’s climate is likes. Hell, we don’t really know what it’s like to meet and date new people in your 20s, 30s, or 40s. Being in a monogamous entanglement for almost 32 years has us kinda out the loop of how things go down in the DMs. Yet, we can imagine. One question that finds it way around the social media globe every year or so is the discussion around body counts. For those unfamiliar with this vernacular, men and women want their partners to disclose the hunger of previous sexual partners they’ve had. As one can imagine, the scale tips on the side of men who may have this concern. However, it would be remiss to exempt women from inquiring about the same. But in the scheme of things, how much does this matter? With the recent disclosure by Brittany Renner claiming to have had 35 partners in her 31 years of life, who determines what is deemed appropriate or excessive?Same question can be applied to discussions of alimony. With the recent divorce finale for Black-Ish star Anthony Anderson, details have been shared regarding the $20k alimony he's required to render to his ex-spouse. In addition to other monies to be paid contingent on his future earnings, when is enough enough or is it ever too much?Who really knows the answer to these or any questions regarding relations, relationships or situationships? We don’t claim to have the answers (queue Kanye reminding Sway reminding he doesn’t have them either).
