My guest today is from the great Canadian town of Thorold, Ontario. He’s been working as a feature columnist for over 30 years, most of those in Hong Kong. He began here running the publication department at City University of HK, then in 1993 started writing a weekly column for the Eastern Express. In 1996 the Express folded and he began writing for TIME magazine, The New York Times, Forbes, The Independent, LA Times, Times of London among many others. In April 2000, he began at the SCMP, until 2017 when he moved back to doing more event centric writing. Along the way, he also did TV broadcast work for Star Sports/ESPN, everything from Japanese Baseball to the Chinese Basketball League. Please welcome to Across The Pond, Mr Tim Noonan.
