Accent ON!’s host ILONA EUROPA interviewed singer-songwriter LIAM KEVANY from the band
Angeles Flight on Monday. Liam said: We are a Los Angeles based group that plays music for the soul. We came
together the summer of 2012 to play funky jams. Rock is our easel, and Jazz, Funk, Fusion, Classical, and
anything that sounds good are our colors. I formed the band after hearing Gary Clark Jr. last summer. At the
time I was doing a lot of side man stuff and I didn't have my own project. Angeles Flight became my baby. We
are a quartet (guitar/vocals, bass, drums, and hype man). I went to high school with all three of these guys.
In the past year we've played a good amount of gigs around the LA area. We had a monthly spot at the Tribal
Cafe in Echo Park up until September. The Lyric Theater, The Redwood Bar, AmplyFI, Tommy's Place, Think Tank
Art Gallery, The Eaglerock Music Festival and The Living Room are some of the many places we've played at in
LA. Lately we've been doing a lot of behind the scenes stuff. As you may know, we're having at our EP Release
show at the Mint November 10th. We also just filmed our first music video. All I can say is that I'm excited

Ilona Europa had the pleasure speak on the phone with singer songwriter/promoter NATASHA MIRA and our
second guest singer /songwriter JONNY SHORR . Both of them are promoting Angeles Flight’s EP Release show at
the MINT in Los Angeles. It was lovely to find out that all of my guests are students studying at USC and
representing their Music Department. For this special project promoting Angeles Flight, they shared that they
were very excited to have helped plan and now promote Liam's band's EP Release Show this upcoming November.
Angeles Flight has been working hard in the studio, and now alongside Professor Shoals and Jacaranda Red,
their opening acts, they will be rocking The Mint LA on the 10th and handing out free copies of their new
record.
