This week, we thought we would look at Fabulous Funnies, a 70s Filmation series that brought all the best comic strips of the 20s to life! So we thought, why not get the scoop from someone who was actually there? Veteran cartoon writer Buzz Dixon, most famous for his work on GI Joe, Transformers, My Little Pony, Inhumanoids, Jem, Cowboys of Moo Mesa, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and literally EVERY cartoon of the 1980s, was gracious enough to sit down with us for a conversation about his first writing gig... and also the inner workings of 1980s animation, the body horror of Turbo Teen, the Q*Bert Show that could have been, and (of course) The Little Clowns of Happytown.
