This conversation is with Mark Hatton a 3:01:09 marathon runner who is on the path to complete the 6 world marathon majors. He also GB age group triathlete who returned to running in 2015 following two life changing events, the passing of his father and birth of daughter.
We speak about the time he cycled 270 miles in Death Valley to support the cancer hospice that took care of his father. We go onto talk about other significant life challenges he experienced.
Mark explains that his daughter is one of his why’s for living an active and healthy life, whether it’s running marathons or training to earn a spot at Ironman Championships in Kona.
We talk about his marathon PR in Tokyo.
