As we approach the one year anniversary of October 7th, 2023, Israel’s war on the Palestinians appears to be rapidly escalating into a broader regional conflict. Last Friday, an Israeli air assault killed Hezbollah’s leader, Hassan Nasrallah in Beirut. As air strikes continued across the region, a heavily armored Israeli ground force began cross-border “ground raids” into southern Lebanon on Monday. On Tuesday, Iran launched a barrage of missiles aimed at Israel.



Today, host Allen Ruff attempts to understand the evolving situation with Middle East analyst and commentator Mouin Rabbani. Rabbani is a Co-Editor of Jadaliyya and Non-Resident Fellow at the Center for Conflict and Humanitarian Studies. He is a semi-frequent guest on the program.
