In this episode , Tara interviews Adrienne Milagros Chaney about her life as a K-6 teacher , a single parent and mother of an adopted daughter. They talk about mediation and mindfulness in the classroom before it was option and how the children opened her up to the intuitive wisdom that they possessed. Adrienne ended up resigning from her position as a teacher  when she realized the disconnect between how she felt she could help the children and the academic rigor and ridge ness of the school system , but it led her to a life helping parents and children.
