Being understood matters to the majority of people. But is it a Biblical concept, and is there room to grow in the subject? Miss and Rachel talk about their need to be understood in life and how they hope to grow in the area.
You cannot hope to be understood until you are willing to do the same for others.
 
The Bible says, “A person who answers without listening is foolish and disgraceful” Prov 18:13
 
It takes humility to be willing to understand others. I think when we’re willing to try and understand others, they soften and are more willing to try and understand us.
 
Romans 8:18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.
 
Romans 12:1 I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.
 
Affirmations: God knows you completely. 
Jeremiah 12:3 But You, O Lord, know me; you have seen me, and You have tested my heart toward You. (NKJV)
 
Challenge: Ask God what are my motives behind needing to be understood and how can I put God first in this area?
