Saying the words out loud mean more than any toy, gift, or game.  Expressions of love such as a hug releases the hormone oxytocin, which immediately reduces stress and can override fears and pain."Be yourself. The people will change around you." Being yourself means that you do, say, and act according to what is important to you. The local and global community around us is always changing."I'm proud of you."  No matter how the day goes, they need to know that they have your support.  "Be clear on what you value." Let them know that being clear on what they value will help them in any situation to make the best decision for them."Love starts with love itself."  This is the old adage that you can't pour from an empty cup.  If you don't feel love, you can't give or receive love.  Loving yourself creates a bond with the one person who's guaranteed to always be there for you: you.  The security that comes with high self worth helps to support all 3 areas of the brain, especially during the critical early years of development."No problem is too embarrassing. I'm here to help." Shame and guilt in children can carry into adulthood.  They need to know that you're in their corner, no matter what.A wise man once said, "It's not about getting it right. It's about getting it started." Thanks, Benjamin J. Harvey. Try one or two of these at first, in writing if the situation warrants it, then build on that.  It will only take a few moments out of your day but it can make a lifetime's worth of difference.Connect with Magic:A Magical Life Podcast on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/amagicallifepodcast/On Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/wholisticnaturalhealth/Online: https://wholisticnaturalhealth.com.auSupport the showConnect with Magic:A Magical Life Podcast on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/amagicallifepodcast/On Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/wholisticnaturalhealth/Online: https://wholisticnaturalhealth.com.auA Subito Media production
