Jeremy Mitchell has built a career out of serving others in the US Army, in the classroom, as a school administrator, and now as an advocate for students in classrooms and his fellow veterans. As a trainer for the Positivity Project, Jeremy helps educators bring the principles of positive psychology into their classrooms to help teach kids how to develop and understand their character strengths to build a brighter future for themselves and their classmates. In this conversation, Jeremy shares why he decided to serve in the US Army, what he learned from that experience, and how his transition back to civilian life was. Jeremy shares what led him to leave a successful sales position to pursue a role in the schools and shares more on the impact and approach taken by the Positivity Project to bring social and emotional learning to kids at school.
