He was also an awarded finalist for the Killer Nashville Silver Falchion Award, the New Mexico-Arizona Book Awards, the NIEA Awards, and the NYC Big Book Awards.  He is currently working on the fourth novel in the Arthur Nakai series and the second novel of the Skye Roanhorse series. The first Skye Roanhorse novel titled BLOODLINES is currently being submitted to the Big Five publishers by his literary agent.
