In this episode (#307): We step into the ring and celebrate the impact that Smitty’s Midwest Boxing Gym has had, and continues to have, on young athletes in the community. We were honored to have Coach Darrell “Smitty” Smith in studio along with one of Coach Smitty’s athletes, 10-year-old national silver glove, up and coming great, Sonya Kirsch. The annual “Always Ready to Rumble X” event will be this weekend with legends of the sport in attendance including Riddick Bowe, Thomas Hearns, Ray Mercer, Vinny Pazienza, Cory Spinks, Michael Spinks, and International Secretary of the World Boxing Council, Jill Diamond.
