My guests tonight are the definition of pioneers in sports and effective leaders in so many ways. The impact that former Missouri State University and George Mason Women’s Basketball Coach and current Drury University Director of Athletics, Nyla Milleson, has had on coaches, athletes, administrators, and communities is a tremendous tribute to the kind of person and leader she has been for decades. Former Executive Director for the Missouri High School Activities Association and administrator for the National Federation for High School Sports, Becky Oakes, has been a mentor and leader at the state and national level. These two Hall of Famers exhibit and demonstrate what effective leading is all about as we look at our weekly leadership model from none other than former University of Tennessee’s Women’s Basketball Coach, Pat Summitt.
