Rio Hondo Prep travels to Huntington Park for their first Friday game of the season as they face off against the Marquez Gladiators. The environment should be rather electric and a true tough test on the road for the Kares. Dean Sloan is our featured guest this week and shares his thoughts on how Rio Hondo Football sets itself apart in many ways. Mr Sloan is a successful businessman, former Army Ranger, and major contributor to KYL/RHP. He was awarded the 2024 Kare Service Award which is presented to an individual who has made outstanding contributions to the organization. Dean Sloan is also on the Board of Directors for Kare Youth League and provides a unique perspective in doing so. Our prayers are with the many Rio graduates who are now Firefighters battling the blazing infernos across Southern California.
