Rio Hondo Prep is 6-0 heading into their Week 8 matchup with visiting Viewpoint from Calabasas. This is the Gold Coast League opener for RHP in which only two out of four teams are guaranteed a playoff spot. Rio has played exceptionally well in 2022 and must restart their engines after a long layoff. Our guest is longtime football official Tracy McFate. He was in Boys Christian League (KYL) in the 1960s and spent 40 years working football games for not only high school but at the college level as well. Tracy gives his honest assessment of where Rio Hondo stands amongst the best programs in the San Gabriel Valley.
