Rio Hondo Prep is 9-1 and the #1 seed in the Division 9 CIF Southern Section Playoffs. Their opponent for the opening round is a familiar foe from the past in St. Margaret's of San Juan Capistrano who brings their 6-4 record to Kare Park on Friday night. The Tartans were Rio's first 11 man playoff victory in school history back in 2003, and their current team is not only talented but also very well coached. Our featured guest is Brian Reed-Baiotto who is the Sports Editor for 210 Prep Sports. We discuss the playoff pairings and the current system that still raises lots of questions.
