In this episode of 8-bit Monsters' Monster Deconstruction for D&D 5e we look over the enchanter. This CR 5 humanoid is a full fledged caster and all of it's offensive capabilities will come from any damaging spells they may have. Luckily there were only a few to go over but it made it easier to calculate the final CR for this enchanter. The idea of this podcast is to break monsters down into their bare components: DCR & OCR. These two values will allow us to see how strong they are and to see where D&D got the CR values from. I'm doing this because all too often, players skip right to level 3 to avoid the hell levels and possibly end up dead. Generally, each monster is a balancing act that isn't equal to the final value.
