Listen "#13: Long Temperedness: The Art of Sticking with Others through Hardship and Misfortunes"
Episode Synopsis
Today we return to this week's 52-Week Rhythm, Long Temperedness. What does it look like to be consistent and enduring through hardships and misfortunes? Is it really possible to display restraint, even when stirred to anger? Practice: Do your best to demonstrate a consistent attitude of love regardless the circumstance. And if someone's actions stir you to anger, be slow to retaliate. Perhaps, as it's reasonable, allow yourself a full 24 hours before responding. Take that time to share your frustrations with God in prayer and ask God for patience and the ability to demonstrate love in your response. Want to learn more about Origins Community?
