Episode Synopsis "The idol of people pleasing"
Sometimes we can find ourselves striving to control other people's opinions of us through people pleasing. We'll defy God to not make someone uncomfortable or overextend ourselves to not risk being disliked. Whenever we do something at the expense of honoring God's word and who He is making you, we are working from a place of idolatry. Let's talk about it. Bible Verses Exodus 20:3 Deuteronomy 28:1-14 Matthew 10:22 1 Peter 2:17
