Listen "383: Principle #8 // Communicate for Connection [The SAM Framework]"
Episode Synopsis
My kids are headed back to school soon, and they will be doing all sorts of assessments to see how they're doing in math and reading and writing. And this got me thinking: I need to do a series of mini-podcast episodes during this back-to-school season for moms to assess how they are doing, not with balancing equations or diagramming sentences (because I have a feeling most of us would fail those assessments 🥴), but to assess something way more important: our own levels of emotional wellbeing.
Just like last week, this week, Monday-Friday, I will be publishing a mini-episode to introduce you to each of the principles I teach in my Self-Assured Motherhood course, a framework I created for overwhelmed moms. Each principle is an important part of emotional well-being and can help you in your personal assessment of how you're doing.
Today's principle is Communicate for Connection.
As you go along with this mini-series, you can use this self-assessment I've created to visually assess how you're doing in each of the principles we discuss.
I hope you find this mini-series helpful as you take time to consider your own emotional well-being. I'm rooting for you!
