We’re in no way experts, and we won’t always get it right. We have not experienced the systemic racism and inequality that black people do on a daily basis. We’re both trying to understand more, and be better. Sometimes that means uncomfortable conversations and identifying and coming to terms with our own shortcomings, bias and privilege. We will strive to keep learning, keep supporting, keep amplifying and keep doing the right thing, not the easy thing.
