Dr. Irene Katzela is a trailblazing leader in the research, development, and commercialization of large-scale interoperable networks. With over 25 years of technical leadership, she is recognized as one of the few women Chief Technology Officers (CTOs) in the networking and decentralized technologies sectors. Dr. Katzela leverages established and emerging technologies to shape global business strategies, achieving maximum operational impact with minimal resource expenditure. As CTO of Miner Network, she was at the forefront of ethical gold mining, pioneering the innovative tokenization of gold from mines to consumers. As the founder and consulting principal of Axio4Tech and LPI Solutions, she provided network management and security services to a diverse clientele, including major telecommunications companies, banks, and pharmaceutical firms. Dr. Katzela holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, a Master of Philosophy, and a Master of Science from Columbia University, NYC.
