Deborah Tillman is a globally recognized Transformational Parenting Leader, speaker, and author whose leadership in early childhood education spans nearly three decades. Known for her faith-based parenting approach, love for children, and passion for empowering parents, she has become one of the most trusted voices in family and parenting education. Deborah's journey began when she became a mother to her son, Zeplyn. Unable to find high-quality childcare, she made the bold decision to leave her six-figure career and open her own center in 1994. Today, her Happy Home Christian Leadership Academy for Early Learners is a top-rated child care provider in Northern Virginia. Her philosophy of showering children with love, delivering quality education, and equipping parents and providers to lead with compassion has earned her national acclaim. In 2011, Deborah was chosen by Lifetime Television to star as America's Supernanny, bringing her unique style of purposed parenting to audiences worldwide. She has also been a recurring expert on The Steve Harvey Show, HARRY, and has appeared on The View, Today Show, Katie, Wendy Williams, Great Day Washington, CNN, and more. From 2019–2023, Deborah served over 16,000 coaches in 150+ countries as the Creator of the John C. Maxwell Parenting and Family Certification Curriculum, solidifying her role as a leading voice in global parenting education. A sought-after speaker, she is celebrated as "The Transformer" at schools, conferences, organizations, businesses, and churches. Her academic background includes an Honorary Doctorate in Education from Richmond Virginia Seminary, a Master's in Early Childhood Special Education from George Washington University, a Master's in Christian Leadership, and a Biblical Justice Certificate from the Leland School of Theology in Arlington, Virginia. She has also studied Jurisprudence at Oxford University.
