God bless you.Key Scriptures: 2 Corinthians 5:6-10; Revelation 20:11-15Scripture informs us in many places, Old Testament, & New Testament, that in spite of human freedom of will or independence, God has the final say and provides boundaries and directions for our lives. He has the final say or a significant say in the lives of both believers and unbelievers. And some aspects of our lives, even as believers, remain beyond our understanding, even puzzling. We have to simply trust God.A very important passage is found in 2 Corinthians 5:7. First in context, living by faith and not sight means Jesus is now away from us and most don’t see Him; so, we trust by our experiences in the Holy Spirit that He’s alive and active in our lives. We have an inner witness of this reality: Romans 8:15-17 (our adoption: “Abba Father”, and Hebrews 11:1, faith “is an inner assurance of things not seen etc.)Second, this activity continues throughout our life experiences and is more foundational than, “understanding.” The passages in our introduction support this idea.
