God bless you.Key Scriptures: Genesis 6:1-13 (especially verses 5-8) 2 Timothy 3:1-6 (read also 1 Peter 3:20; 2 Peter 2:4-5; Jude 1:5-6)Genesis, describes 3 epochs of Biblical history that helps shape our ideas of “The Last Days” (“As it was in the days of Noah so will it be when the Son of Man returns; Matthew 24:37-39)”The fall and its initial universal effects on all things created, Genesis 3-6, The condition after the fall is illustrated by the Nephilim, 6: 1-5, who are they and what do they symbolize? And note even the survival of Noah and his family, did not put a stop to sin; They weren’t even that perfect. God’s Covenant with Noah did not produce the desired changes. (Remember the Tower of Babel and Sodom and Gomorrah etc.)God tries again via the Abrahamic Covenant (Genesis 12 & 15). After Abraham, then through Moses, Israel was given clear laws. Maybe this would work. Then years later the New Covenant was given to us Jesus Christ and the Gospel and while it resolved the curse of the law, the Adamic curse was not removed. From Jesus' Crucifixion and Resurrection to His promised return, up till today, things seem not to be getting better but seem even worse. 2 Timothy 3:1-4 describes the situation as getting much worse, even ushering in the End Times. It’s a massive sign that mimics the severity of evil, comparable to Genesis 6:5-8. God has “regrets” or “grieves” over His fallen creation, because “every indication is the thoughts of his heart were only evil all the time.
